Industry bodies

- specialist trade union for the media industry
- Broadcast
Journalism Training Council - helps
colleges provide the best possible courses for the training of radio,
television and on-line journalists
- Community Media Association
- also run short courses and workshops for community groups and individuals, including
in radio
production
- Ofcom
- the regulating organisation for the whole of the broadcasting industry
- The
Radio Academy - Professional association for people working in radio in the
UK - runs regular Masterclasses and networking events
