Riverside FM - Summer 2002

Photo: Robin AndrewRiverside FM, a local arts radio station, was set up by Riverside Studios and Women's Radio Group.  It was on air for three weeks from 12 July until 1 August 2002.  Riverside FM 2002 broadcast from Riverside Studios on 87.7 FM in West London and from this website.

Breakfast Show
Riverside FM opens each day with ëWake Up Callí ñ an hour of music, news and chat followed by ëWorking Breakfastí, an exciting mix of guests and features on local arts, events and community activities.
9-12 noon
Riverside CafÈ
Riverside CafÈ brings a 3 hour brew of live guests each morning.
12 noon- 2pm
Talking of Round Here
How well do you know Hammersmith and Fulham? Do you know who lived in that house? How that pub got its name? What about where to get free advice about your money worries, or find out about how your council tax is really spent?
2-4pm
Work in Progress
Phone-ins, discussions and features on careers and volunteering, adult education and learning opportunities. If you are looking for inspiration to help you get out of the rut and into the limelight - this programme is for you!
3pm each afternoon:  The Afternoon Play
4-6pm
River Rats
A magazine programme by, and for, young people with contributions from local schools, colleges and youth groups reflecting the style and interests of under 18ís.
6-8pm
After Work
Tune in and join us ëAfter Workí and get to know your manor. Brush up your local knowledge on people, places and pubs of Hammersmith and Fulham. Really scrape the surface off the bricks and mortar, as we explore the borough.

Arts Alive
Arts Alive brings you three hours of current information and reviews of whatís happening, what to see and where to be on the West London arts scene. Thereís film news, views and tickets offers, and we end each evening with our very own brand of comedy.

Music
The late night music slot is an eclectic and diverse blend of music, sounds and vibes! Featuring the freshest UK Garage, fledgling Indie bands and a wide variety of unsigned local talent, plus some exciting new DJs and presenters that London has yet to discover.
