Partnership projects
WRG works regularly with other organisations, providing input for radio arts, drama, training and broadcasting projects.  

Current projects in the London area include:

• Working with Desi Radio in Southall, training local people in radio production and ICT skills.  WRG is also managing the PEARLS radio production courses for women.  Click here for details.
   
• Membership of the imMEDIAte transnational learning partnership.  This is a European funded Grundtvig Lifelong Learning Partnership. Our partners are Orange 94 (Vienna), Frauenhetz (Vienna) and Nosotras en el Mundo Communicación y Desarrollo, at Radio Vallekas (Madrid).
   
• Working with Crisis Skylight and Exciting Writing on the Unknown Voices project, to provide training and recording opportunities for people who have experienced homelessness, to share their stories and experiences.  Click here for the Unknown Voices website.
    
• Working with London Link Radio on a series of online broadcasts for Refugee Week:  Refugee Week Radio takes place in June each year.  Click here for more details or click here for the Refugee Week Radio website.
   
• UNSUNG HEROINES: an important photographic and audio reminiscence project celebrating the contributions of women during World War II.  Click here for more details.
    

Other recent projects:

• Working with Camden Community Radio to provide training for people living in the Camden area. 
   
• Providing training for women on the University of Westminster's Widening Participation course (Summer 2005)
   
• Working with Riverside Studios on Riverside FM, a short term arts radio station for young people in West London, planned for Summer 2004.  WRG provided training for local young people. Click here for the Riverside FM website.
   
• WRG was also involved in training, production and management on the first Riverside FM, a short-term arts and community radio station which broadcast for 3 weeks in July 2002. Click here for the Riverside FM website.

Training courses
Women's Radio Group runs regular courses throughout the year, both independently and as a partner with larger, transnational projects.  

WRG holds various short courses at competitive rates, including:

• basic radio production
• drama writing and production
• digital editing
• presentation skills/voiceover techniques
